Despite having a broken collarbone ZANDER Gabriel score 73.00 to place in 8th


13:00 – It hots up in Heat 4

French riders GIRAUD  and GARBACCIO pulled off super smooth runs to score 79.66 and 79.00 respectively to make it an all French top 3.


12:45 – Top 3 Standings after heat 3

12:35 – KECHAUD Johnson scores 78.00

From long beach USA was one of the competitions most anticipated riders and he didn’t disappoint building up maxim speed an air during his 1 run to take 2nd spot. On his second run he took a hell of a slam so his first score will be taken.


12:30 – Brandon VALJALO from South Africa takes to the stage

The South African rider packed an amazing amount of tricks into his 1 minute run including a naughty disaster crooked grind on the rail and frontside blunt side down the rail but it wasn’t enough to knock JJP off the top spot and he came in 3rd.


12:22 – Top 3 after heat 2

The level was super high during heat 2 but no one could knock JJP off the top spot after his flawless run. Great to see local rider Jack Dinius from Edmonton breaking into the Top 3

12:10 – Jonathan JEAN-PHILIPPE brings the fire to heat 2

The French are really bringing it in Edmonton! JJP known for his street skating kills in on the course landing a bunch of tricks including a kick flip crooked grind and a backslide flip so score a HUGE 80.66

French rider Ben Loates landed a range of tricks that aren’t usually seen in competitions including a 360 boneless to take the lead after the first heat.

We have 20 riders split into 5 heats. Each rider has 2 runs of 1 minute to throw down their best tricks  and it’s the best round that counts.

Only the top 12 from today will make it to the finals tomorrow
